Brandon Martin has over 13 years of experience as a landman in the Oil and Gas industry. He began his landman career in deep East Texas where he was responsible for Lease Checks, Mineral Title, Leasing, Drill Site Runsheets, Curative and Surface Negotiations.
With experience in all aspects of land work, he was hired as a Project Manager at Ted Walters and Associates in 2012 where he managed many large projects successfully for multiple clients. His strong communication skills and “can do attitude” makes him an asset to every project he manages.
He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Landmen (AAPL), the East Texas Association of Petroleum Landmen (ETAPL), is a Licensed Texas Notary Public and a Registered Right-of-Way Agent.
Brandon is a co-founder of Roca Land & R.O.W. and serves as the President and Director of Business Development. He lives in Bullard with his wife, Story, and their two sons Case and Knox. He enjoys camping, BBQ, hunting and watching sports.
Cliff Bratton
Cliff Bratton has 14 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry. He started his career at Ted Walters and Associates as a Landman and learned all facets of Field Landman Services including: Mineral Title, Leasing, Runsheets, Curative and Due Diligence. He also has experience in Surface Work, including Surface Damage Settlements for Pad Sites, Pipelines (permanent and temporary) and has secured water for frac jobs.
In 2009, his strong work ethic earned him the position of Project Manager. In this role, he has run projects from five to 155 people covering five thousand to 420 thousand acres. Cliff has successfully stayed in front of a multi-rig schedule while finishing under deadline and under budget.

Cliff is a co-founder of Roca Land & R.O.W. and serves as Executive Vice President and Director of Land. He and his wife, April, daughter, Reese, and son, Sawyer, live in Flint, Texas. He enjoys fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.
Wes Buchanan
Wes Buchanan has over 14 years of experience as a landman in the Oil and Gas industry with a particular focus on Surface related projects. He spent his first 10 years as a contract landman, and the last four years as an in-house Senior Surface Landman for Covey Park Energy and Comstock Resources.
Wes has experience in managing the negotiations for Pad Sites, Lease Roads, Pipelines, Water Transfer and other Surface related projects. He has successfully stayed ahead of a multiple-rig schedule and managed both the purchase of many Pipeline Right-of-Way projects, and the conversion of a pipeline that traversed seven states. Wes has enjoyed working with many of the industry’s best construction managers and has released to them many projects under budget and in a timely manner.

Wes is a co-founder of Roca Land & R.O.W. and serves as Executive Vice President and Director of Surface and Right-of-Way. He and his wife, Lisa, have two children, Isabel and Wyatt, and live in Whitehouse, Texas. He enjoys hunting, fishing and watching his children play sports.
